At about the age of 2, children spend more time in the rooms known as the ‘Bears’ and ‘Butterflies’.
Many children in these two rooms enjoy regular sessions with our dance teacher, as well as the more familiar nursery activities such as sand and water play, role play, the creative corner and computer games. We encourage outdoor play all year round, and include children in the tending of our nursery garden.
The government issues statutory guidelines on the way nurseries care for children, known as The Early Years Foundation Stage. Whatever your child is doing at nursery, you can be assured that staff are constantly working within this framework.
